Photographing an event is always a welcome test of stamina and awareness; a sort of composing marathon. I like to prime my senses to look for compositions and interactions that can be used to tell a story. I look for wide shots that give a sense of the scale of an event. Medium shots provide glimpses of the reactions between subjects and close-ups can highlight the work of the people who plan and produce for an event.
